Australian Water Parks

Australia has several wild water parks to accompany their fantastic weather year round. If you wish to book a birthday party or just with a group of people, all of these water parks are excellent choices. Another option is to have a group booking at night time after the park has been closed, which is a very original trait that some of these water parks share.

These water parks aren't just for water fun. They have plenty of other attractions and rides to enjoy. They also allow cookouts, which is very original. Some even have covered picnic table areas, which is a great for families or large groups.

Wet n Wild Water World - Gold Coast, Australia

At Wet ‘n Wild they have what is called a Dive ‘n' Movies where you can watch a film while swimming and relaxing, which is unique. During the colder months, this water park heats the water in all of the pools and on the rides, so you can enjoy water fun all year round. One of the newest rides is called the Surfrider, which seats you and a few other people on a giant surf board and simulates surfing some of the biggest waves in the world.

WhiteWater World - Golds Coast, Australia

One of the biggest attractions here is the option to take surfing lessons. All of the equipment is supplied, you get a free pass into the water park, a CD full of pictures of your surfing lesson, and it has fully qualified coaches to teach you how to surf. Another interesting trait is that this water park has almost 60 bilingual staff which covers 21 languages for the travelers out there.

Manly Waterworks - Sydney, Australia

Being in the heart of Australia, the water park isn't the only thing this place offers. Since it is in Sydney, there are a lot of different local attractions that are very close by, such as beaches, a boardwalk, shopping, restaurants, museum, and art gallery. The water park itself has a lot of rides for all ages and is a great place for the whole family to enjoy.

Adventure Park - Geelong, Australia

One of the newest and best rides is the Six Lane Aqua Racer, which you compete against other people and race to the finish. This slide has sensors at the finish line to detect who finishes first and has an accuracy of 1/100th of a second. Adventure Park also isn't just a water park, it features various other dry rides and attractions such as go karts and miniature golf, just in case you get tired of the water park fun.

Geelong Adventure Water Park

Kalamunda Wet 'n' Wild - Perth, Australia

If you're looking for a much smaller water park which still has rides for kids of all ages, then this is your place. This water park only features six waterslides, however they have a kiddie splash pool, 8 lane Olympic pool, learners pool, and a mother and baby pool. The Olympic size pool features two diving boards on either side of the pool. Although small, this is still a very good water park to consider.

Terror Canyon Ride at Wet n Wild Water Park

The Beachouse located in Glenelg, Australia

There is no entry cost to get into The Beachhouse, however you pay per ride which can get a bit costly. They do offer many packages to make the cost a lot cheaper if you plan on staying there for a long period of time. What is original about The Beachhouse is that they like most of the other water parks mentioned, don't just have water rides and one thing that is very interesting is that this is the home of the oldest carousel in Australia.

Jamberoo Action Park located in Jamberoo, Australia

If you're a bit strapped for cash this water park offers a lovely covered picnic area and has BBQs available. They also offer a trackless train that shuttles people around the park who would rather ride than walk, which is great on those very hot summer days. One awesome ride is called The Taipan which seats five people in a tube and you raft down one of two water slides - all in complete darkness!
