Indoor Water Parks: Splish Splash Year Round

Water Park Info
Indoor Water Parks
Indoor water parks are open year round, so any time you want to go on a vacation you can find fun for the whole family. There is more than just water fun at these resorts. They also have:
- spas/salons
- golf courses
- fitness centers
- nature paths
- shopping
- restaurants
If you don't feel like making a whole vacation out of water slides, you can stay overnight and enjoy the other things these resorts have to offer. A spa treatment for mom, and a round of golf for dad is a getaway for all ages, not just families with children.
Another advantage is that since they cater to all ages, they have larger hotel suites available, so if you're traveling with children it makes travel arrangements a breeze. There are also condos available for people who are staying longer than the average family. Other amenities are available for longer stays such as a full kitchen with all the appliances, more bathrooms, plenty of bedrooms, and more living space.
The cost of these water parks is very inexpensive because of the family packages that most of these resorts offer. Many give discounts based on how long you're staying at their resort, have promotions around various holiday seasons, and group discounts. It's a great getaway, even for business functions and conventions. A lot of them have halls and meeting rooms that seat at least 10,000 people!
Indoor water parks are popping up everywhere, so chances are there is one that is a close drive away from you. More of the famous indoor water parks are located in the USA, but there are quite a few located outside of the States that are just as good.
Kalahari Resorts
This African theme indoor water park allows you to cruise the waves on a boogie board or surf board all year round. They have plenty of family rides and one of the only water parks to have an uphill water roller coaster. Kalahari also provides water park discounts to people who serve in the military, police officers, and fire services. These water parks are located in Wisconsin Dells, WI; Sandusky, OH; and Fredericksburg, VA.
Great Wolf Lodge
Located all over America, this indoor water park is massive and contains entertainment for a wide group of people. They have so much to see and do that staying overnight isn't a problem because they have family suites and even condominiums available for larger families and groups. There are also other activities to enjoy such as an outdoor water park and a theme park with rides.
Splash Lagoon Water Park Resort - Erie, PA
Most water parks use chlorine in their water, and a lot of it. This indoor water park doesn't use as much chlorine so there isn't as strong of a smell. Splash Lagoon is a tropical paradise because it is 84 degrees all year round. One of the most famous attractions in the water park is their one million dollar tree house, which is 5 stories high and has 12 levels of interactive fun.

They have loads of discount packages available and plenty of other accommodations besides their indoor water park. An outdoor theme park, time with Looney Toons characters, bedtime stories and lots of other activities for children are also available.

Why do these all have to be so far away from me
It's a bit of a pity not to include Massanutten, which is a great indoor water park resort nestled in the Shenandoah Valley in the Appalachians (I went there summers ago and it's a great RCI timeshare.), but good job on your Hub!
The huge red slide in the pic is awesome, kids will love it.
